Possible areas, depending on the profile of the volunteer:

  • Communication and Marketing: Assistance of the management of the website and Facebook fanpage, planning and organising charity events
  • Administrative tasks: office activities e.g. make outgoing and receive incoming phone calls, updating information in databases, assistance of archiving, etc.
  • Social work: visiting the food assistance centers to supervise the food distribution, to see if all donations are handed out or if food is missing
  • Storage and organization: Distributing the food to the centers, classification, storage and portioning the products
  • Events: Participating in Fundraising or collection campaigns which usually take place at the weekend

    You would plan suitable campaigns for the various companies and brands and participate in the design of Facebook content and other digital publications. Furthermore, you would perform market analysis services of digital marketing of the customers’ competitors. Consequently, you would develop recommendations, changes and improvements for the customers. You will be working in a young and motivated team and you wil learn a lot about social media marketing. Furthermore you will have the chance to express your ideas and contribute them to different projects.

    Internship abroad in an economic research institute (CBA-138) Also possible as last minute!

    Project to analyze and investigate the structure of value chains in a given sector Your activities in this internship include:

    • Customer contact
    • Organize meetings
    • Carry out surveys
    • Analysis of the value chain: the identification and recording of the individual members
    • Identification of the major constraints of the companies in this sector and the development of proposals on how to improve the value chain
    In this internship you can learn a lot about finance and gain a deep insight into the daily routine in the institution. You will learn a lot about the current economical situation, as well as the procedure of financial analyses.

    Volunteer work abroad at a homeless shelter (CBA-120) Also possible as last minute or gap year!

    The foundation provides the needy persons with food, clothing and basic medical care. It organizes events to inform underprivileged people about their rights and additionally they work together with other NGOs. The homeless get support in finding an employment and housing. In addition, it supports literacy campaigns and provides tutoring, as well as training and leisure activities.

    Internship abroad at tour operator (CBA-114) Also possible as gap year!

    During your internship you will be mainly involved in the sales department. Your activities include tasks such as customer service, management and processing of requests. Likewise, you would be in contact with suppliers and help putting together package tours. This is particularly important as the tour operator has a close relationship with the suppliers in order to ensure the desired quality and to make sure that the external companies (hotels, airlines etc.) offer an optimal service. In the experienced team you could gather much information about the tourism sector and learn a lot about South America.
